This listing is for a one hour long Usui Reiki healing session - a system of energy healing that was brought over from Japan to the West, but matches traditional Japanese Reiki in all but the style of teaching. I was attuned to this method in October 2019.
Reiki is wonderful if you are simply looking for a way to relax, get better sleep, or soothe muscle aches. However, it’s also a great option if you want to simply look into blockages or potential damage to the energy body, which can translate into discomfort in the physical body and mind. Animals tend to enjoy it as well for many of the same reasons! This session includes a scan of the energy body, as well as auric cleansing and assistance with grounding. I will email you after your purchase with an invite to Practice Better (the secure system I use to send forms and set up appointments) to set up a good time to do the healing as well as obtain details about your needs.

If done at a distance, these sessions may not be possible to do in real time depending on client availability (that is, similarly to an in-person healing). For those who are unfamiliar with Reiki, Reiki can be described as a traditionally Japanese universal life-force energy that I am able to channel through the obtainment of attunements. It’s effective for healing and balancing the energy body on all levels (spiritually, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and physically), a temporary source of protection against negative energies, relaxation, as re-energizing, and relief from stress. It can also soothe minor bodily aches.

How does reiki work?
Reiki works primarily with the energy body and auric field. The healing of the energy body and auric field can then transfer into healing on a physical and emotional level as well. Clients usually report feeling warmed and relaxed during a session, along with the easing of pain, much like getting a spa day. Because of Reiki always working for a person’s highest good, sometimes things like uncomfortable emotions or after the session feeling you’re about to catch a cold can crop up (though this should dissipate in a few days), but it is generally because that’s something that needs working through.
Imagine the energy flow of the energy body like a circuit. When something goes wrong with the circuit, such as a blockage, it can throw off the system a great deal. Energy may work itself around a blockage to try to still function and compensate, but ultimately everything works best when the energies are able to flow freely and without obstruction. Reiki works to remove and heal these obstructions, helping to get you back on track to good overall health.
