Usui Reiki Level 1 Attunement

This listing is for a distance Usui Reiki Level One attunement. It includes a class that lasts for between 1-2 hours, with instruction and resources about what Reiki is, its history and limitations, how to use it (both in-person and distance), and time to practice doing some Reiki on yourself. There will also be ample time for questions as needed. This attunement can be beneficial both if you are planning on eventually moving up the levels to Reiki mastery, or if you are looking to learn a method of energetic self care.

For those who are unfamiliar with Reiki, Reiki can be described as a traditionally Japanese universal life-force energy that I am able to channel through the obtainment of attunements. It’s effective for healing and balancing the energy body on all levels (spiritually, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and physically), a temporary source of protection against negative energies, relaxation, as re-energizing, and relief from stress. It can also soothe minor bodily aches.

Reiki works primarily with the energy body and auric field. The healing of the energy body and auric field can then transfer into healing on a physical and emotional level as well. Clients usually report feeling warmed and relaxed during a session, along with the easing of pain, much like getting a spa day. Because of Reiki always working for a person’s highest good, sometimes things like uncomfortable emotions or after the session feeling you’re about to catch a cold can crop up (though this should dissipate in a few days), but it is generally because that’s something that needs working through.

Reiki is great if you are simply looking for a way to relax, get better sleep, or soothe muscle aches. However, it’s also a great option if you want to simply look into blockages or potential damage to the energy body. It includes a scan of the energy body, as well as auric cleansing and assistance with grounding. I use the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of Reiki - a system that was brought over from Japan to the West, but matches traditional Japanese Reiki in all but the style of teaching.
